I was featured in Anne Holt's Tennessee segment on WKRN News 2 on Wednesday, June 21st.
Anne and Joe Gregory did a great job of showing what I love to do. I'm glad my favorite nurses made it on camera, too.
watch the story and enjoy it.

It was really cool To have the CEO of Vanderbilt Pschiatric Hospital recognize me and my best friend, Andy. We met James Norton and he asked if we could help his Hospital out. We've visited with little kids and adolescents and it's been awesome. The staff loves us being there, too. It's one of our favorite places to visit.
And thank you for the dog treats and my stuffed rabbit. I can never catch one at the farm.
It's so cool to visit the pediatric ICU. My little friends need intensive care and the nurses there have the training and love to make their stay special. I know I have to be on super special behavior in the unit, too.
Boy was I surprised when I showed up to visit nurses and patients at Vanderbilt's Infusion Clinic the other day. The nurses told me to stop in at the C-Pod's nurses station. Guess what? I've given them so many kisses and hugs that they renamed it the "Cooper Pod". See my mug shot above the calendar.
i guess I owe my beloved nurses some donuts.
This is Patricia. She was our office manager for 16 years She's back helping out and I hope she'll return in some capacity. I'm begging her. She's a real softy and used to take me outside when I was a puppy. She makes a mean pie, too, a really yummy crust.
I met Kellie and Lesley, yesterday at Vanderbilt's Infusion Clinic. They were so cool and so much fun. They've been friends since childhood and the love they have for each other is so powerful. They'll beat cancer together and I hope I can help them. They said I made their day, but it's the other way around!
Thanks for letting me use this beautiful picture.
Yoga class is important to me. It keeps me loose and limber so I can dodge gurneys in the hospital hallways and easily jump into bed if a patient wants to cuddle.
But this morning Mandy took my yoga mat so I decided not to do downward dog with the class. I do love my 7 a.m. group though. They're happy to have me in class!
Glad to start the new year with some of the most compassionate people I know-the nurses at Vanderbilt's Infusion Clinic. I love to get hugs from them, they're special!
Sara and I are tired from working on her thesis. Short break. I don't know how she'll do it without me. Glad she's a second semester senior.
So glad Jesse shared her bed with me. We were whipped puppies after welcoming in the New Year.
Ellie Mae was rescued from a bad situation and now loves the farm. Here she is at the back door. I don't mind when she comes up, but she's grown to really like eating my dogs bones. I tell her they're " dog bones" not "pig bones", but dad gives her some anyway. She also wants to become a " therapy pot-belly pig" but she can't jump into the car so that's not going to happen! Whew.
It takes a special nurse to work at Vanderbilt Hospital's Infusion Clinic. There's a lot of compassion in those hallways. I love visiting the patients and nurses in the courageous fight against cancer. I'm glad I can bring a smile to their faces and souls! And I really want to thank the patient who left me a Christmas present of pepperoni sticks!!!
Dad says he moonlights here. I don't believe him!!!
I had a relaxing time at the Y doing yoga with Dad. The instructor is great. I'm a natural at downward dog!
I love getting mail from my friends! This letter made my tail wag! If you want to write me a letter, you can send me an email at cooper@herecomescooper.com. You can send your letter there, or ask for my mailing address.
Dad and I met Linda at the Planetree celebration and we got our picture in the paper again!
Two of my dad's furry friends sent me a card! It even has a drawing of them on it. I hope that I can visit them, and maybe even visit St. Jude's Hospital near their house. Maybe we can be pen pals, or paw pals!
